Amanda: aka 'Mandy' graduated from Murdoch University in 1982 and has worked in small animal practices ever since. Mandy has worked in WA, NT, SA and Tasmania as an employee, a locum and practice owner during that time.
Mandy’s main area of interest is small animal medicine, particularly feline medicine and loves being able to make a definitive diagnosis that results in a positive outcome.
Mandy moved to Launceston from Adelaide in November 2017 to take up a position in the AMC Cat Clinic mostly doing consulting and some surgery.
When not at work Mandy loves spending time with her two children (one lives in Adelaide, the other in Melbourne), their partners and grandson.
Mandy and her partner have just bought a 3 hectare property north of Launceston. They are interested in self-sufficiency and enjoy walking their dogs and riding their horses.
Mandy is also a keen quilter, cook, homemaker and yoga enthusiast.
Mandy looks forward to building the business at the cat clinic and seeing more of Tasmania.
