Alice Scolyer

Alice is one of our Certificate IV qualified vet nurses and leads the nursing team in our dog clinic. As head nurse at the AMC, she not only runs the surgical day, making sure the surgical vets have all the help and equipment they need at the right time, she also leads the nursing team by training our younger nurses, and setting a great example of what it means to be a vet nurse. She is also in charge of ordering the various surgical equipment required for the many different surgical procedures we carry out here at the Animal Medical Centre.

Alice's favourite aspects of veterinary nursing include orthopaedic surgery and scrubbing into theatre however she also enjoys caring for sick patients in our hospital wards.

When she's not in scrubs, Alice loves spending time with her fiance', family, friends and of course her animals, which currently include 3 horses and a little dog named Lucy. Alice is a true local, and is an experienced horse rider currently involved in several clubs including drag-hunting and show jumping.
